Check out of the hotel and wait in the lobby for a shuttle to Jackson Hole Airport, where you will board a flight to Rapid City, South Dakota. (The flight is not included.) When you arrive in Rapid City, take a taxi to your hotel. Overnight in Rapid City at a hotel. (B)

Proceed to the neighbouring Fort Hayes Chuckwagon for Mt Rushmore tour pickup.
There's a lot more to the Black Hills than the renowned faces on Mt. Rushmore, and this trip is the best way to see it all. We'll spend an hour at Mount Rushmore. We follow the Peter Norbeck National Picturesque Byway as it ascends Iron Mountain via scenic tunnels and pigtail bridges. The presidential vacation white mansion of previous presidents Calvin Coolidge and Dwight D. Eisenhower is our lunch destination. Lunch can be ordered from a menu or a buffet. We proceed up Needles Highway past Custer State Park, going through magnificent tunnels and picturesque views. Then we'll go to see the world's largest mountain carving.

You may go to the monument and museums, as well as learn a lot about the sculptor, Korczak Ziolkowski, in his home studio museum. After the tour, return to your accommodation. Overnight in Rapid City at a hotel. (B)

Check out of the hotel and take a taxi to the airport for your journey to your next destination/home. (B)
