Vientiane City

On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Vientiane.

After breakfast, start your day by visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to Lao’s national icon, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, stop en route to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe.

After that, transfer to Thangon (20 km from the centre), which is very famous for the leisurely lunch cruise along the lazy Nam Ngum River. This is the escape from daily busy life, which you never want to miss when visiting Laos.

Arriving back in town, continue your tour with a visit to the famous Wat Si Muang before heading out to the Mekong River to admire the sunset. Overnight in Vientiane

In the morning, transfer out to see Buddha Park, an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, near the Friendship Bridge. Witness approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years which were created by a mysterious monk spreading his philosophy on life, revealing his ideas about the universe. Then transfer out to the airport to take the departure flight.
