Vancouver Rockies via Rail

You've arrived in Vancouver. Return to your hotel. Begin your Tour of Vancouver later this afternoon (12 Noon). If you're looking for a day excursion that combines city sites with a woodland hideaway, this is the tour for you. Ride around Vancouver's lively downtown and unwind with our one-of-a-kind, guided narration. Admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, including the Clifwalk and Treetops Adventure, is included in the trip. This morning is yours to explore Vancouver. We will travel from your accommodation to Pacific Central Station in Vancouver in the early afternoon. At 3 p.m. PT, your VIA Rail Canadian One departs Vancouver. You'll arrive in Jasper at about 11 a.m. MT the next day after speeding through the landscapes of British Columbia and Alberta, crossing multiple rivers and lakes. This is a 19-hour excursion that includes an overnight stonboardard Canadian One. Overnight train ride on Via Rail Canadian One. (B)

You will continue your train ride until you arrive at Jasper, a charming resort town in the Canadian Rockies. Your train will arrive in Jasper at about 11 a.m. MT. When you arrive, our shuttle will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is open for you to explore Jasper. Overnight in Jasper at a hotel. (B)

Our morning, after breakfast, see everything Jasper has to offer on this 4-hour excursion visiting the finest natural sights in the area. During your journey, you'll hike through the towering limestone walls of Maligne Canyon to see the waterfalls below, as well as staring out at the stunning alpine waters of Maligne Lake and Medicine Lake. You'll also get the opportunity to search for local species such as sheep, elk, and bears that live in the region around Maligne Lake. Finish your adventure with a drop-off at your Jasper hotel. Today, after breakfast, drive to Icefield Parkway. Tour from Jasper to Banff, including stops at the Columbia Icefields and entry to the Ice Explorer and Glacier Skywalk. Athabasca Falls, the Weeping Wall, Bow Lake, and the Crowfoot Glacier are among the sights to view along this scenic drive. You will also stop at the Columbia Icefields Centre for approximately 4 hours to participate in the Glacier Adventure excursion onto the Athabasca Glacier and/or enjoy the Glacier Skywalk overlooking the Sunwapta Valley. With a maximum of 26 people per vehicle and small individualised group sizes, this trip will be the highlight of your Rocky Mountain vacation!
