Day 1 : Arrive Ahmedabad

You will be transferred to the hotel upon arrival at Ahmedabad airport / railway station. Ahmedabad is situated on the banks of the Sabarmati River and was built in 1411 by Sultan Ahmad Shah. Later, embark on a city tour of Ahmedabad. Gandhi Ashram, Sidi Sayed Mosque, Jumma Masjid, Teen Darwaja, Hutheesingh Jain Temple, Adalaj Step-well, and Akshardham are all worth seeing. Day 2: Ahmedabad - Dakor&Pavagadh Excursion

Today, depart for a day excursion to Dakor. During its earlier phases as a pilgrimage centre in Gujarat, Dakor was famous for the Danknath temple, a place of Shiva worship, and Pavagadh. The majority of Hindus in India, particularly those from the western region comprising the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra, believe in goddess Mahakali. Mahakali's famed and oldest temple is located inPavagadh, near Vadodara, one of Gujarat's major towns. The temple has developed into a pilgrimage destination for practically all Hindus in India. Day 3: Ahmedabad to Dwarka (about 450 kilometres / 8 hours and 30 minutes)

Today, after breakfast, drive to Dwarka; an ancient city that is home to one of Hinduism's most important pilgrimages — the 'Dwarkadhish temple'. Marine excavations off the coast of Dwarka have uncovered significant relics of an ancient city, which most likely includes the 'Dwarawati' of the 'Krishna Lila. Later in the evening, visit Dwarkadhish temple's aarti. Overnight in a Dwarka hotel. (B)

Day 4 :Dwarka

Today, visit Bet Dwarka, which is located 30 kilometres from Dwarka and is bordered on all sides by water. Also, visit Nageshwar Temple or Nagnath, where the Jyotirlinga housed in the temple is known as Nageshwar Mahadev and attracts millions of visitors throughout the year. The Rukmini temple, erected in the 12th and 13th centuries, was dedicated to Rani Rukmani, princess of Vidharba, who was to marry Sishupala but was instead nourished by Lord Krishna and Gopi Talav. This is the location where Lord Krishna used to play with his Gopikas. There is a tiny pond where Lord Krishna is claimed to have played with the GopikaStrees. Overnight in a Dwarka hotel. (B)

Day 5: Dwarka – Somnath (about 281 kilometres/six hours)

Today, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple early in the morning to observe the Aarti. After breakfast, travel to Somnath, stopping along the way to explore Porbandar, Gujarat's coastal historical town nestled on the Saurashtra peninsula on the Arabian Sea. Visit Kirti Mandir, which was home to Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba. This location is close to the Mahatma's birthplace. Later, travel to Somnath and see Rudreshvara Temple — Rudreshvara Temple is a ruined temple located near Somnath. Bhalka Tirth - Halfway between Veraval and Somnath is Bhalka Tirth. Lord Krishna was mistaken for a deer and wounded by an arrow at this location. This is where Lord Krishna chose to depart from his human body and enter the eternal universe. Overnight in a Somnath hotel. (B)

Day 6 :Somnath – Bhavnagar (about 275 kilometres / 6 hours)

Today, continue to Bhavnagar; Bhavnagar was built in 1723 AD near the Gulf of Khambha by Bhavsinhji Gohil. Check into your hotel upon arrival. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Bhavnagar hotel (B)

Day 7: Bhavnagar – Palitana Excursion

After breakfast, depart for an excursion to Palitana, which is located at the foot of the Shetrunjaya hill and is bordered on the south by the Shetrunjaya River. The sacred hill rises in a crescendo of magnificent temples – 863 in all – that reach to the summit of the hill in marble glory. The temples were constructed over an amazing 900 years, with each generation of pilgrims contributing to the Shetrunjaya shrines. Typically, the 600-meter ascent to Shetrunjaya is performed on foot. Additionally, dolis or lift chairs are provided for the climb. Overnight in a Bhavnagar hotel (B)

Day 8: Depart Ahmedabad

Today, following breakfast, you will be transferred to Ahmedabad airport / railway station in order to catch a flight or train return home or to your next destination. (B)
