Day 1: Arrive Rovaniemi - Reindeer Safari

Arrive private flight. Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Rovaniemi. We propose an early supper (not included) in the hotel restaurant on this day, as the hotel's kitchen will be closed following your return from the Northern Lights Safari. At 19.00, you will be picked up and transported to the beginning location of the Reindeer Safari, where you will seek for the Northern Lights. Seeing the Northern Lights is an awe-inspiring sight. Especially while riding in a reindeer-drawn sleigh on a serene journey through nature's calm splendour. The appearance of the Northern Lights varies considerably, and as a result, we may change the trip appropriately. The journey will begin at a small reindeer farm in Rovaniemi, where you will meet authentic reindeer herders who will share their way of life in harmony with nature with you. There are plenty excellent photo opportunities during the safari and farm trip; you can also feed the reindeer their favourite goodies. Warm beverages and buns are provided inside the farm, while you listen to fascinating stories about reindeer herding and living in Lapland's wildness. The travel from Rovaniemi's core area takes around 30 minutes one way; during the route, you may enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the countryside. The duration of the programme is around 3-4 hours, including transfers. Please note that while the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee their activity, brilliance, or colour on the evening of the safari. Overnight in Rovaniemi.

Day 2: Snowmobile Safari & Santa Claus Village

This morning is yours to do as you like. In the afternoon, you'll be picked up from your accommodation and transported to Santa Claus Village, where you'll have some free time. To seek for the Northern Lights, walk to the snowmobile safari meeting place (in Santa Claus Village / we propose having supper in Santa Claus Village before to the trip). This nighttime snowmobile safari will be a unique opportunity to discover the enchantment of snowy woodlands at night. We travel snowmobile tracks away from city lights, aided by the white snow reflection of the stars and moon, in search of areas to enjoy the sky. The guide will build a bonfire and we'll have a picnic while we wait for the Northern Lights. Anyone has the ability to grill traditional Finnish "makkara" sausages. Aurora Borealis We will do a search on the fire and give Lappish berry juice to keep you warm. Bring along a tripod for your camera if you want to take decent shots in the dark. The programme lasts three hours, including preparatory time. Snowmobile riding duration is around 1 hour and 30-40 minutes. Due to safety and traffic rules, the average speed of our brief trips is limited. Two people travel on one snowmobile; lone riders pay an additional fee. The excursion is appropriate for families with children; youngsters travel in the guide's snowmobile-pulled sledge. Please note that while the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee their activity, brilliance, or colour on the evening of the safari. Overnight in Rovaniemi. (B)

Day 3: Hike in Snowshoe

Enjoy a day of relaxation on your own. Departure in the evening for your snowshoe journey to Wilderness Lodge. Awaken your senses and feel the night time calm of the forest. Snow reflections, stars, and the moon provide illumination when navigating through the night. Snowshoeing is an excellent opportunity to see Lapland's wintry wildernesses, get some exercise, and enjoy the pure, clean air. We will arrive to the Wilderness Lodge after a 20-minute transfer, a typical lumberjack mansion located by the magnificent Raudanjoki river. We proceed across the pedestrian bridge to the river island, where we can see the ice rapids. The location has a good probability of seeing the Northern Lights. You will receive the necessary equipment and we will go for the woodland trek. Snowshoeing is simple; you don't need to be an expert skier to get the hang of it; all you need is some balance and some warm clothes. During the tour, we'll stop to build an open fire and enjoy hot chocolate and delicious buns in the wintry setting. Please note that while the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee their activity, brilliance, or colour on the evening of the safari. Overnight in Rovaniemi. (B)

Day 4: Bus Hunt for Northern Lights

Enjoy a day of relaxation on your own. In the evening, join our excursion to witness the Northern Lights — a spectacular natural phenomena unique to the Arctic region! During the tour, we stop at the perfect location for this experience - bring your camera and tripod and attempt to capture those stunning colours. We travel around 30–45 minutes out of the city and light pollution, depending on the weather conditions. If we're lucky, we'll see the lights approaching. The sight of the lights is not guaranteed, but they are frequently seen on clear evenings. Even without illumination, the Arctic starry sky is rather lovely. You will always require some luck to view the lights, and even the trip itself is unexpected! Fantastic surprises are possible! Overnight in Rovaniemi. (B)
