DAY 1: ARRIVE AUCKLAND

Upon arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails,' seat in coach customers will be welcomed and personally transferred to their accommodation by our local agent. Guests travelling alone will pick up their rental car at the airport and drive to the hotel. Overnight in an Auckland hotel.

DAY2: SIGHTSEEING AUCKLAND

Today, take a morning sightseeing trip of Auckland's central business district (seat in coach guests only). Kelly Tarlton's Sealife Aquarium and Antarctic Encounter are worth a visit (both seat in coach and self drive guests). The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in an Auckland hotel. (B)

DAY 3: AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – MATAMATA – ROTORUA

This morning, journey south through the Waikato area to Waitomo, where you will be led through the glow worm caverns. Later this afternoon, continue to Rotorua via the Hobbiton Film Set for a guided tour of this world-class site. Overnight in a Rotorua hotel (B)

DAY 4: ROTORUA

Enjoy, Te Puia Thermal Reserve  a must-see for its bubbling mud pools and roaring geysers. After that, visit Agrodome for an agricultural show and Rainbow Springs for a look at New Zealand's trout, birds, and animals. Afternoon is free. Enjoy a genuine Maori Hangi (feast) and concert this evening. Overnight in a Rotorua hotel. (B,D)

DAY 5: ROTORUA – CHRISTCHURCH (own Arrangements)

Continue your journey from Rotorua to Christchurch on your domestic flight (airfare not included). Check into your hotel upon arrival. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Christchurch hotel. (B)

DAY 6: CHRISTCHURCH – MT COOK

This morning, journey across the beautiful Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the 'Church of the Good Shepherd,' before continuing to New Zealand's highest peak, Mt Cook. Leave Mt Cook and travel south down the beaches of Lake Pukaki through the historic Central Otago region to Queenstown's 'Alpine Resort'. Overnight in a Queenstown hotel. (B)

DAY 7: QUEENSTOWN – MILFORD SOUND

Today, take the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and then continue on to Lake Te Anau. To reach Milford Sound, enter the Eglinton Valley and go via the breath-taking man-made Homer Tunnel. Take a sail across this internationally renowned ford, which is dominated by Mitre Peak and the tumbling Bowen Falls. Retrace your steps back to Queenstown. Overnight in a Queenstown hotel. (L, B)

DAY 8: QUEENSTOWN

The day is free  to explore the seemingly limitless array of alternative activities. Bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, and gondola excursions are all available in Queenstown. Not included in the tour fee are optional activities. Overnight in a Queenstown hotel (B)

DAY 9: QUEENSTOWN – GLACIER REGION

Proceed to the Glacier area through Lake Wanaka and the historic Haast Pass, which serves as the entryway to the World Heritage-listed Westland National Park. Continue up the West Coast, passing stunning mountain ranges, indigenous forests, and lakes, reaching the Franz Josef and Fox Glacier regions. Overnight in the Glacier Region's hotel. (B)

DAY 10: GLACIER REGION - CANTERBURY

Today, make your way north to Greymouth, where you'll join the Tranz Alpine train (seat in coach guests only). Ascend through beautiful beech woods, passing the mountain town of Arthur's Pass on your way to the Southern Alps. Travel to Christchurch across the Canterbury Plains. Overnight in a Christchurch hotel. (B)

DAY 11: DEPART CHIRSTCHURCH

Today, head to the airport to take a flight to your next destination or your homeland, bringing with you a lifetime of memories. (B) The Tour Has Come to an End!!
