You will be greeted and driven to the hotel upon arrival at Taoyuan International airport. After checking into the hotel, the remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Taipei hotel.

Today, take a half-day tour of Taipei, visiting the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, the National Palace Museum, which houses 5,000 years of Chinese imperial arts and jade collections, the Martyrs' Shrine, which features traditional architecture and a changing of the Honor Guards, a local Taiwanese temple, and the Taipei Handicraft Center. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Taipei hotel. (B)

Proceed to Sun Moon Lake, which is located in the heart of Taiwan and is 762 metres above sea level in the mountainous Central Taiwan mountains. Stop at the renowned Wenwu Temple, also known as the Literature-Warrior Temple, which is devoted to Confucius as the Master of the Pen and Kuan Ti as the Master of the Sword, as well as the Holy Monk Shrine and Ci En Pagoda. Proceed to your hotel and check- in . At the Fleur de Chine Hotel near Sun Moon Lake, guests may enjoy natural hot springs. You may also explore the lake on your own by strolling the paths, bicycling, hiking, or boating. Overnight at the Sun Moon Lake hotel.

This morning, travel past the charming little and historic Jiji Railway Station on your route to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, southern Taiwan's most famous Buddhist sacred site. Here, you will learn about Buddhism on a monastery walking tour to the "Buddha Memorial Centre" and have the opportunity to communicate with some of the monks and nuns. There will also be an opportunity to have a Buddhist vegetarian lunch (at your own cost). Continue driving to Kaohsiung Metropolis, Taiwan's second largest city. You will see the Love River and the Liuhe Night Market on this excursion. Overnight in Kaohsiung. (B)

Proceed to Kenting National Park, which is located on Taiwan's southern point and is mostly known for its 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline on three sides. Eluanbi lighthouse, Maobitou beach picturesque region, and Longpan Park will all be visited. We will continue to drive to Taitung via the Southern Link Highway. At Hotel Royal Chihpen, you may enjoy natural hot springs. Overnight in a Taitung hotel. (B)

Today, take a thrilling tour of the East Coast. The East Coast National Scenic Area, dubbed "Taiwan's final unspoilt area," runs 170 kilometres down the island's east coast. Weathering, erosion, and accumulation have resulted in the formation of a diverse range of landforms in this area. Make a pit stop at Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, and Shitiping (Stone Steps), where a marble factory and showroom are located. Continue to Hualien in the late afternoon for an overnight stay in Taroko National Park. Overnight in a Taroko hotel. (B)

Take advantage of a visit to Taroko National Park. Tarako Gorge is an unusually picturesque, small ravine formed by the Liwu river's steep incision through the solid marble rocks. A road cut into sheer rock walls winds its way between wooded peaks and cliffs thousands of feet above, while a river roars past massive marble boulders hundreds of feet below. Passing via the Tunnel of Nine Turns and the Ci Mu Bridge, with a stop at the Swallow Grotto and Changchun Temple in between (Eternal Spring Shrine). Later, return to Taipei via Cingshui Cliff and the Syue-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 Kms). Overnight in a Taipei hotel. (B)
