After arrival at Athens International Airport, a transfer to the hotel will be arranged. The remainder of the day is free to explore Athens. The world's most gorgeous metropolis is revered by gods and mortals alike. After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and make your way to Olympia. Athens for the canal of Corinth (short stop). Drive to Epidaurus and explore the Ancient Theatre, which is renowned worldwide for its exceptional acoustics. Proceed to Nafplion (a brief halt) and then through the Argos plain to Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and Agamemnon's Tomb. In the afternoon, travel for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games (optional souvenir stop). Overnight in an Olympia hotel. (B)

After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and make your way to Delphi. Visit the ancient site, which includes the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the Olympic flame's altar, the Stadium, and an archaeological museum. Depart through Patras (brief stop) for Rion, then take the bridge over the Corinthian bay to Antirion. Pass via the city of Nafpaktos and continue along the seaside route to Delphi, dubbed the "navel of the globe" in ancient times. In the afternoon, explore Arachova, a lovely mountain town. Today, following breakfast, you will tour the archaeological site and the Delphi Museum. Make your way to Kalambaka through Central Greece (short stop at Lamia). The Kalambaka (a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks and crowned by the Meteora Monasteries). Overnight at a Kalambaka hotel. (B)

Today, after breakfast, depart for Athens in the morning in order to explore the Byzantine Monasteries in neighbouring Meteora. Return to Athens via Thermopylae's majestic monument to Leonidas of Sparta. Overnight in an Athens hotel. (B)

Today, after breakfast, take a half-day Athens sightseeing and Acropolis museum trip from the Acropolis to Omonia Square. On this full morning tour, you will see all the prominent locations of ancient and modern Athens. This guided half-day trip provides an excellent overview of the city. We begin at Panathinaikon Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. It is the world's first stadium constructed entirely of white marble.
