When you arrive in Christchurch, 'The Garden City,' you will be greeted and escorted to your accommodation; self-drive customers will get their rental vehicle at the airport and drive to their hotel. Overnight in a Christchurch hotel.

Continue down the Waimakariri River, through the Southern Alps, and via the alpine settlement of Arthur's Pass to Greymouth. Travel south along the mountainous West Coast to the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers area. Overnight in the Glacier Region's hotel. (B)

This morning, continue down the West Coast, through stunning mountain ranges, native forests, and lakes on your approach to the Haast Pass, the entry to the World Heritage West Land National Park. Continue along the shoreline of Lake Hawea until you reach Wanaka in the late afternoon. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Wanaka hotel. (B)

This morning, you'll visit Puzzling World, a one-of-a-kind attraction known for its strange structures, puzzle centre, and illusion chambers. Proceed to Queenstown. Overnight in a Queenstown hotel. (B)

Day at leisure or you can take the opportunity to experience one of the Optional activities. Infinite optional attractions, which include bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, and gondola rides.) Overnight stay at a Queenstown hotel. (B)

Continue south through Central Otago to Twizel, then round Lake Pukaki and enter Mt Cook National Park. At Mt Cook, optional activities include scenic flights, glacier boat rides, and a visit to the Sir Edmund Hillary Centre. Overnight in a Mt. Cook hotel. (B)

In the morning, travel to Christchurch, stopping along the beaches of Lake Tekapo to view the 'Church of the Good Shepherd'. Later, you'll make your way over the rich Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Overnight in a Christchurch hotel. (B)

Today, go to Christchurch airport to take your flight back home (B)
