Day 1: Arrive in Cochin - Munnar (about 129 kilometres / 4 hours).

Proceed to Munnar from the Cochin airport. Munnar is one of Kerala's most picturesque tourist spots. Munnar, located at an elevation of 6000 feet, was a favourite summer retreat of the British rulers during the colonial era. Munnar offers it all: an endless stretch of tea estates, picturesque valleys and mountains, rare species of plants and animals in its natural sanctuaries and forests, and the perfume of spice-scented chilly air. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. The remainder of the day is at your pleasure. Overnight in a Munnar hotel

Day 2: City Tour of Munnar

Today, you may have a full-day sightseeing trip of Munnar's Romantic Hills, including a visit to Eravikulam National Park, where you can observe forest inhabitants and diverse and uncommon species of animals. Then visit the Mattupetty dam, which is 1800 metres above sea level. Later, pay a visit to Echo point. As the name implies, its nature is similar. The tranquillity of this site is regularly broken by tourists, as each word spoken to nature in the air returns as an echo. The tea museum would be your next stop (Closed on Monday). A fun and educational destination for children and tea lovers alike. This location has several images and technology depicting the process of processing tea leaves, and it will undoubtedly be intriguing for tea drinkers to learn about the mechanics. Take a leisurely walk in the evening and admire the unspoiled environment. Overnight in a Munnar hotel. (B)

Day 3 :Munnar To Thekkady (about 99 kilometres / 3.5 hours)

This morning, drive to Thekkady, a town known for its animal sanctuary and a plethora of spices. After checking into the hotel, you can choose to embark on an elephant ride, spice tour, or boat trip. In the evening, visit the spice market on your own. Overnight in aThekkady hotel. (B)

Day 4: Thekkady – Alleppey (about 128 kilometres/ 4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey backwaters and board your overnight houseboat for an unforgettable backwater cruise. Throughout the Cruise, you will explore several churches and towns and will learn about the backwater life of the indigenous people. Overnight in Alleppey on a houseboat. (B,L&D)

Day 5 :Alleppey - Kovalam (about 160 kilometres / 5 hours)

Today we drive to Kovalam, Kerala's coastal town. When you arrive at Kovalam, check into your hotel. In the evening, unwind on the beach and take in the sunset. Overnight in a Kovalam hotel. (B)

Day 6: Kovalam – Kanyakumari Excursion

A full-day excursion to Kanyakumari is included. Kanyakumari is India's southernmost tip and the confluence of three seas, the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean. Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace and Sucheendram Temple on the way. Arrive in Kanyakumari and board a boat to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Kanyakumari Devi Temple (on your own). Later, return to your Kovalam hotel. Overnight in a Kovalam hotel. (B)

7th Day: Depart Kovalam

This morning, you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport/railway station in order to catch a flight/train return to your home or next destination. (B)
