Day 1: Arrive in Belgrade

Herzlich willkommen in Serbien! You will be welcomed and driven to the hotel upon arrival at
Belgrade Airport. Belgrade, Serbia's capital, is one of Europe's oldest cities. This "white city" is well-
known for its many architectural styles, vibrant history, and spectacular views of one of Europe's
largest river confluences, the Danube and Sava. Take in post-World War II socialist architecture – as
well as modern commercial districts, like the massive Usce Tower. The remainder of the day is free
to explore the city on your own. Overnight in a Belgrade hotel.

Day 2: City Tour of Belgrade

Today, following breakfast, you will go for a city tour of Belgrade. The journey will begin at the
Museum of Yugoslav History, a monument complex dedicated to the life and activities of
Yugoslavia's political leader, Josip Broz Tito. Pass via FC Red Star's stadium on your way to the
Temple of Saint Sava, Belgrade's patron saint. From Slavija Square to Republic Square, take a
panoramic tour. In Central Belgrade, see the National Theatre and National Museum before
proceeding to the bustling Knez Mihailo Street. Continue to Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress,
the city's most significant cultural-historical complex, located at the confluence of the Sava and
Danube rivers. Overnight in a Belgrade hotel. (B)

Day 3: Heritage Tour of Belgrade and Vojvodina: Fruska Gora – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad

Enjoy a day excursion to Fruska Gora – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad this morning. Discover the most
fascinating attractions in Vojvodina, Serbia's northernmost region. Drive through Serbia's famed
wine region to the Serbian Holy Land, stopping at the well-preserved monastery Krusedol to
purchase monk-made wine and rakija. The journey then proceeds to Sremski Karlovci. Explore the
city's Baroque centre, Patriarchal Court, Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, and Serbia's first
secondary school. Additionally, it is well-known for its winemaking and the town's annual Wineball
event. Take part in a wine tasting at one of the region's most renowned vineyards. The journey

concludes with a visit to Novi Sad, the European Capital of Culture in 2021. Overnight in a Belgrade

Day4: Depart Belgrade

Your journey closes with a transport to Belgrade Airport for your flight home. We appreciate your
