Day 1: Arrive in Guwahati and go to Bhalukpong (about 250 kilometres / 5 hours).

You will be taken to the hotel in Bhalukpong upon arrival at Guwahati airport / railway station. Make your way to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Bhalukpong hotel.

Day 2: Bhalukpung – Dirang (about 160 kilometres/four hours)

Today, you'll pay a visit to Tipi Orchidariurm in Bhalukpung and then make your way to Dirang. Dirang is a picture-perfect Tibetan – Monpa stone hamlet, with the exception of the major road. A high rocky slope rises above the lovely stone dwellings, crowned with the Old Dirangs Gompa and many walls. Overnight in a Dirang hotel. (B)

Day 3: Dirang – Tawang (about 150 kilometres / 4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Tawang, which is located at an elevation of 3500m. The natural splendour and isolation of the Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi mountains, the Tawang Chu River, and the Tawang Valley are fascinating. En route, pass via the 14000-foot-high Sella Pass and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. When you arrive, check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your pleasure. Overnight at the Twanag hotel. (B)

Day 4 :Tawang

Today, take a tour of the 400-year-old (17th century) Tawang Monastery, the world's second biggest monastery after Tibet's Potala Palace. The structure is around 113 feet long by 80 feet broad and is home to priceless antiques, books, and manuscripts—both handwritten and printed. Later, visit Tawang War Memorial, a 40-foot-high multi-hued memorial with a stupa-style construction. This memorial, dedicated to the martyrs of the Sino-Indo War of 1962, is located among picturesque peaks that overlook the Tawang-Chu valley. Overnight in a Tawang hotel. (B)

Day 5: Tawang – Bomdila (about 180 kilometres/six hours)

Today Proceed to Bomdila, the headquarters of the West Kameng district, which is located at an elevation of 8500 feet above sea level. With its pleasant environment, apple orchards, creative people, snow-capped Himalayan peaks, and Buddhist Gompas, it attracts a large number of travellers. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight at the Bomdila hotel. (B)

Day 6: Bomdila – Tezpur (about 160 kilometres/four hours)

After breakfast, depart for Tezpur. Tezpur is a delightful town with well-kept parks, picturesque lakes, and breathtaking vistas of the great Brahmaputra River as it laps against the town's edge. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in a Tezpur hotel. (B)

Day 7: Depart Tezpur - Guwahati (about 190 kilometres/4 hours and 30 minutes).

This morning, you will be taken to Guwahati airport / railway station in order to catch a flight or train return to your home or next destination. (B)
