Today, return your rental car in Wellington and transfer to the Interislander Ferry in Picton. Travel across the Marlborough Sounds on the ferry and take in the scenery. Collect your rental car in Picton and proceed down the QueenCharlotte Drive to Nelson. Overnight in a Nelson hotel. (B)

Today is yours to explore Nelson and the adjacent Abel Tasman National Park at your leisure. Overnight in a Nelson hotel. (B)

Continue through the scenic Nelson lakes area to the rocky West Coast. You may like to stop at Punakaiki's pancake rocks on route to Greymouth. Overnight in a Greymouth hotel. (B)

Today, check out of the Hotel and drive to the rental car office located at the airport to drop your car. Proceed to the airport for your flight back home. (B)
