Today, following breakfast, go to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunji in Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on Earth and the only location in India where it rains all year. Cherrapunjiis located in the East Khasi Hills, approximately 50 kilometres southwest of Shillong, the state capital. Cherrapunji, often spelled Sohra or Churra, translates as 'the orange land'. Cherrapunji'sclifs also provide breathtaking views over Bangladesh's lowlands. Later, see Seven Sister Falls, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, and the eco-park at Koh Ram Hoh. Today, make your way to Bhalukpung. Bhalukpung is a tiny town in Arunachal Pradesh, India, located on the southern foothills of the Himalayas. Bhalukpung's primary tourist attractions are fishing and river rafting. Among Bhalukpung's tourist attractions are the Pakhui Game Sanctuary and the Tipi Orchidariaurm, which is home to over 2600 grown orchids representing 80 different kinds. Proceed to Tawang this morning. Along the way, take at the snowcapped Sella Pass at 14000 feet and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. (According to legend, Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of the 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifes) fought a solitary battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still said to guard the location). Tawang is located at an elevation of 3500 metres. The natural splendour and isolation of the Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi mountains, the Tawang Chu River, and the Tawang Valley are fascinating. Today, take a tour of the 400-year-old (17th century) Tawang Monastery, the world's second biggest monastery after Tibet's Potala Palace. The structure is around 113 feet long by 80 feet broad and is home to priceless antiques, books, and manuscripts—both handwritten and printed. Later, visit Tawang War Memorial, a 40-foot-high multi-hued memorial with a stupa-style construction. This memorial, dedicated to the martyrs of the Sino-Indo War of 1962, is located among picturesque peaks that overlook the Tawang-Chu valley. Overnight in a Tawang hotel. (B)

Today, make your way to Bomdila. Bomdila is the district headquarters of West Kameng, located at an elevation of 8500 feet above sea level.
